The Great Western Woodlands revealed! 

It was a very exciting and intense two weeks as all the Stage One interpretation and signage elements arrived in Norseman for installation.  Jesse worked hard in the heat with a fantastic support team from the Shire of Dundas, Bonza Constructions and Lynn Webb of the Gallery of Splendid Isolation - whose fabulous photographs reveal some of what is so wonderful about the Great Western Woodlands.  Part of the team too, is graphic designer Andrew Buckle from Clear Vision Graphics, who has done a great job of bringing together all the different interpretive elements into a style that celebrates the Woodlands' character and colours.

 

Stage One of the Woodlands Cultural, Community and Visitor Centre opened on March 26th 2021 - and the Shire was rewarded with a "Keep Australia Beautiful" award.
